Any thoughts on this NASA video?

At first glance I thought they were space debris floating in different directions.

But once I realize the size of the NASA tether was 12 miles long, then something didn't make sense in the video.

The round looking disks were almost as big as the tether and they were moving behind the tether. Space debris are not miles large in size. I thought this was an interesting video.

As far as I'm concerned this is a hoax.

The "tether" is supposedly 12 miles long. And 1 centimeter wide. But if you look at the scale of the rectangle that the "tether" supposedly is, the width would be something like 1/4 to 1/2 a mile I'd guess. How can a 1 centimeter strip obscure anything behind it?

We're looking at a computer generated video, with noise, static added as part of the software. It's a hoax, in my opinion.
